<br /><br /><br />挪威新世纪乐团《秘密花园》、大河之舞《艾纽纳》乐团争相游请 <br />美国告示牌杂志Billboard Magazine：「这个时代最棒的盖尔语女声」 <br />苏格兰跨世纪经典乐团Capercaillie当家女主唱 <br /><br />Karen在儿提时期曾参加过Mod音乐节所办的歌唱比赛，除得到「最佳歌手」的奖项外，亦在当时得到「当今最美的克尔特女声」赞誉，那时Karen的年纪虽然不大，但却懂得相当多的克尔特字汇与传统歌谣，主要因素是由於Karen的外婆伊莉莎白?马克尼尔是一名传统歌谣的歌者，她的许多克尔特歌曲都是从那里学来的，而且「雷鸟」乐团之所以有坚实的克尔特民族元素为创作素材的原因也是源自於此。 <br /><br />「雷鸟」乐团从八四年出版第一张专辑「Cascade」是以民谣团体的姿态出现，而後该团亦为克尔特音乐创作了无限可能的出路，他们尝试将其民族乐音加以结合转化，不论流行节奏还是非洲等其他民族的音乐纹脉皆是他们创作素材，九五年他们参加英国的WOMAD音乐节时早已是举世之名的当代克尔特乐团了。不过在转化的过程中，该团使用的乐器以及成员架构与来自爱尔兰的克兰纳德家族合唱团（恩雅的姐姐莫雅为主唱）有些近似，也因此许多乐迷都喜欢将这两团做为比较。若您听过克兰纳德与雷鸟的作品，其实您能发现这之间还是有明显不同，前者虽然来自克尔特民族根据地之一的爱尔兰但是其音乐元素比起後者较感觉不出有克尔特民族的传统风韵。 <br /><br /><br />
